Performance Objectives:
At the end of the fourth module, faculty members will be able to:
- Create group discussions by using the WhatsApp app.
- Demonstrate the WhatsApp app by sharing contact INFO and location with their students.
Standards:
- Standard 1: Evaluate and use the WhatsApp app to support and facilitate the learning process.
- Standard 2: Design and develop student learning activities that involve using communication skills.

How to create group discussions
When you create a group, you become the admin of the group and have special control over who can join the group. To create a group:
1- Open WhatsApp and go to the Chats screen.
2- At the top of the chats screen, tap the New Group button. Note: you will need to have an existing chat before creating a new group chat.
3- Type in a subject or title. This will be the name of the group that all members will see.
4- Add group members by selecting "+" , or by typing the name of the contact.
5- Tap Create to finish creating the group.

After watching the video tutorial and reviewing the presentation, faculty members should do the following:
- Apply what you learned from the presentation on your current students.
- Apply what you learned from the video tutorial on your current students.

Discussion/self-introduction
Faculty members will discuss how to use WhatsApp as an instructional tool in or outside the classroom, and they will post their comments in the group discussion that has been created by the trainer. In addition, the trainer will post some feedback in the group as needed.
